High School Preparation (HSP) is an intensive English program designed for international students who need to improve their English ability before commencing high school studies.
It helps students successfully develop their English skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) to enable a smooth transition into high school studies, develops students’ English vocabulary in relation to the high school subjects they will study and equips students with the study skills to achieve academic success when they continue on to high school.
The HIGH SCHOOL (STUDY ABROAD) PROGRAM is for students who want to come to Australia for a short-term high school experience. International students can study in Year 7 to Year 12 for part of the Junior High School and/or Senior High School program.
The Study Abroad Component allows students to study in Australia for a period of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Students are provided with the opportunity to improve their English proficiency and immerse in Australian culture.
Upon completion, students receive a school report outlining their academic achievements.
International students enrolled in High School programs are able to choose to stay with an approved homestay provider or with a parent or suitable nominated relative who has been approved by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP).
